Bonus Chap
The door opened.
Before Shao Ge could speak, he was already shocked by the scene in front of him.
The person in the bathroom heard the sound of the door opening, and couldn’t help but turn his head back.

Shao Ge stared at Shen Jue’s closed door, silent for a moment, then he walked to the living room and poured himself a cup of cold water.

He’d asked around, and this city had established a small base, going there might get him some help, or better yet, a share of weapons.
But going on the road meant potentially camping out, which then meant unknown dangers. So Shao Ge needed to ask Shen Jue’s opinion, if Shen Jue wanted to stay here, he’d go alone.
“I’ll go with you.” Shen Jue barely hesitated.
This realm was different from all the others, it was filled with danger, and staying next to Shao Ge was the safest. At least he had survived his previous lives because he stayed next to Shao Ge, most of the time it was Shao Ge who saved him.
In fact, according to Shen Jue’s own character, he didn’t want to be the one to be saved, but there was no way out now, he didn’t have supernatural powers, so he could only work on his physical fitness, but he was transformed, and it wasn’t long before he had to conceive a child.

The armored car saw their car and slowly slowed down, finally stopping.
The car door opened and a man jumped down.
“Brother, is there any food?”
The man’s body was slim and his cheeks were sunken in, as if he had been starving for many days. When Shao Ge heard this, he was silent for a moment and shook his head.

Shen Jue let out an oh-so-quiet sound, turned his head to look at the lollipop in Shao Ge’s mouth, and lowered his voice, “I want to eat it too.”
They had brought all they could with them this time out, and the food was the most they could bring, just in case there were any accidents, but Shao Ge wasn’t a philanthropist, and in this kind of post-apocalyptic world, it was already enough for him to bring Shen Jue alone, and he didn’t have much of a heart to share things with others.
The reason he took Shen Jue was actually quite simple, firstly he was the first person he met when the end times broke out, if he had met a different person, he would have taken that person with him, and secondly, on days like these, if one lived alone, they might break down.
People were pack animals by nature, and in a post-apocalyptic world, the company of a companion became even more cherished.
Shao Ge heard Shen Jue asking for candy, normally, he would have let Shen Jue go to the car to get it, but obviously not now, he glanced at Shen Jue and took the lollipop out of his mouth, somewhat rudely shoving it into Shen Jue’s mouth.
But to his surprise Shen Jue didn’t get angry, didn’t even make a scene, he ate the lollipop he’d eaten, and obediently stepped aside.
The man recognized Shen Jue, and couldn’t help but say a few more words, ”You guys really don’t have any food left? Sugar …… candy is fine.”
Upon hearing this, Shen Jue looked over at the man.
The man smiled a bit awkwardly, and at that moment, another person came down from the armored car behind him.
It was a man with a handsome face.

“Li Jin, forget it.”

“Uh-huh.” Shen Jue said.
Shao Ge had never heard of a man getting pregnant in over twenty years, but he’d seen one today, and he was sitting next to one who might.
“How do you know you’re going to get pregnant?” Shao Ge still thought Shen Jue was strange, that man at least knew after he got pregnant, Shen Jue knew he could get pregnant before he was even pregnant?
“I just knew.” Shen Jue said calmly, and after a pause, he added, “Wait and see.”
Shao Ge: “……”
See what? See his former teammate’s stomach bulge like a balloon?
Sick.
Shao Ge raised his hand and rubbed his brow, a little tired, “I don’t want to see, you’d better not get pregnant.”
Shao Ge didn’t want to be discussing this issue with Shen Jue anymore, because this issue was really beyond his worldview, who knew that the other would retort with-
“That won’t work.”

Shao Ge stayed silent even longer this time, for some reason he now found Shen Jue even more obnoxious than before, so obnoxious that he could barely tolerate it. If he could, he really wanted to beat the other man up.
But it didn’t seem right for him to do it now that the other man could be pregnant.
Shao Ge sighed tiredly, and could only start the car. They drove all the way until almost dark before stopping.
Shao Ge parked the car next to an abandoned gas station, he first got out of the car to fill up the car with gas, before entering the small house next to the gas station. This house had been occupied by someone before, and judging by the food garbage in the house, it was probably not more than three days ago.
Shao Ge took care of the garbage before asking Shen Jue to bring in the bedding.
This night, they stayed at the gas station. Shao Ge took newspaper in advance and taped up all the windows, but after all, it was just newspaper, not like the original basement, so Shao Ge didn’t even light candles, everything was in the dark.
When they slept outside, they could only sleep in one bed, usually Shao Ge quickly fell asleep, but tonight he inexplicably couldn’t sleep so he turned over, but his hand touched the other’s body.

Because Shao Ge didn’t sleep well during the night, he woke up a little late the next day, and when he woke up, Shen Jue was no longer in bed. He walked out of his room, only to find him standing outside talking to someone else.
It was a man who was bending over to pump gas, occasionally speaking to Shen Jue with a smile on his face.
Shao Ge watched for a moment, then called out Shen Jue’s name.
“Shen Jue.”
Shen Jue turned back at the sound of his voice and saw Shao Ge, but quickly averted his face again and said a few words to the man before walking over to Shao Ge.
“Wash up and get ready to go.” Shao Ge said when he saw Shen Jue return.
Shen Jue looked back at the man behind him at this point, “He’s also going to b-town, want to go together?”
Shao Ge glanced at the man, “No, we don’t know his origin.”
In the end of the world, the most important thing was defense against people, many times, people didn’t die in the hands of zombies, but in the hands of the same kind of people, for the sake of food, for the sake of weapons, anything was possible.
Shen Jue was a bit hesitant because he knew that man. Although this man was unimpressive, he was actually a dual ability user, one of which was a spatial ability, and he had a lot of things stowed away in his space.

After he finished speaking he suddenly saw the man who had been pumping gas earlier running over, the man was alone on the road, and after talking to Shen Jue a few times earlier, he was somewhat tempted to go with them as well.
In this post-apocalyptic world, Shen Jue and Shao Ge didn’t even look like they were in trouble, proving that they were competent, and this man, despite his dual psychic abilities, didn’t have much of an attack against the zombies, so he wanted to go along for the ride as well, but if he ran into someone who wasn’t competent, they might even covet his supplies.
“Want to go together?” The man ran closer and recognized Shao Ge, his eyes clearly showed surprise, and the next instant was amazement. Shao Ge’s face was really lethal, not to mention that the man was also gay.
For a moment, the man’s eyes on Shao Ge became a bit wrong.
Seeing this, Shao Ge frowned and his voice became cold, “No need.” He inclined his head and said to Shen Jue, “Get in the car first.”
Shen Jue also saw the man’s eyes when he saw Shao Ge, he thought about it and said to Shao Ge, “You get in the car first, I’ll hold the futon.”
He didn’t expect the man to actually look at Shao Ge.
When Shao Ge saw that Shen Jue didn’t move, his brows knit deeper, and the man was looking at him in a really weird way that made him uncomfortable. He pulled Shen Jue aside, his voice lowered, “If you really want to get pregnant, you need to pick and choose.” He paused, “At least find a decent looking one.”
Shen Jue asked back, “OK? What criteria are you referring to?”
Shao Ge blinked and pointed at himself, “About the same as me.”
This would at least stop this guy for a while, lest he try to get pregnant every day.
