Chapter Index

Inside the Flesh and Blood covered Church, the flesh and blood limbs that had undergone a mutation scared the group of believers so much that they began to silently recite the Bible and say their prayers.

The priest had just taken a few believers inside the church to check out the situation and instructed them to stay here and pray.

Without the blessing of the priest, the congregation inevitably became much more uneasy and could only maintain their composure by praying.

On the floor to the side, Feng Yun, who was tied up, was still struggling.

The twine on his body had been loosened a lot, and he managed to break free from it while these brain-dead believers prayed.

Feng Yun couldn’t rejoice as he hurriedly dodged the nearby flesh and blood that were suspected to have gone berserk.

These flesh and blood that had been peacefully growing slowly inside the church were now shaking like crazy, making strange “squeaking” noises that disturbed people.

Feng Yun dodged the flesh and began to escape to the depths of the church. Before leaving, he didn’t forget to give a fierce look at the traitors who betrayed him and joined the priest’s army. He swore that if he could still see these people after escaping from this flesh-and-blood town, he would bury them alive.

Then, Feng Yun entered the corridor behind the hall.

He had to find Gu Yin’s body as soon as possible so that he could destroy it and avenge himself for his past life when he was caught in the nightmare of the death cycle.

Thinking of those nightmares in his past life where he killed himself with his own hands, Feng Yun clenched his teeth.

For that kind of comical and bizarre way of death, even when the police came, it could only be judged as suicide caused by a mental disorder. For the proud Feng Yun, this was a great shame.

Feng Yun had no guilt for killing Gu Yin in his past life. Although he knew that he had killed Gu Yin first, which led to that tragic revenge, he didn’t care. At this moment, his heart was only filled with thoughts of revenge, and he hated him to the point where his eyes almost bled.

He wasn’t just going to dismember him this time; he was going to completely shred his bones and ashes!

No one knew Gu Yin’s background better than him. He was just a child born to a lowly woman who was ab-ducted, a bastard whose father wasn’t even known.

He was lucky to have been chosen as a human gu, and it was his destiny to be eaten by him and his girlfriend Feng Qi, so he shouldn’t have had any grudges at all.

Feng Yun only hated himself for being too careless in his previous life, or else he wouldn’t have been reduced to this, but fortunately it wasn’t too late.

Although all the changes in this life in Fengjia Town were a bit out of control, the method of controlling the human gu was still the same, and it was enough to deal with him.

Feng Yun took out the long-prepared talisman paper and compass in his arms as he walked, revealing a cold smile.

With these things, Gu Yin would lose his skin even if he didn’t die.

These things were all magic weapons that had been enshrined in the Feng family’s ancestral hall for generations, although in this era of the Last Dharma, the power of magic weapons was very small, but Feng Yun’s self-confidence made him not consider the possibility that the magic weapons couldn’t deal with Gu Yin in the slightest.

Gu Yin was originally created by his people, so he would definitely be able to deal with it. In his previous life, he was able to suppress him and trap him in the altar for ten years, so he could do the same in this life!

Feng Yun’s eyeballs were bloodshot, and like an overconfident gambler, he began to follow the compass’s guidance to look around the neighborhood.

If an ordinary person was in this blood-stained corridor, they would definitely get lost. With this compass, Feng Yun could indeed see through the maze, but it wasn’t much better. At most, he wouldn’t go round in circles.

The corridor was long, and the flesh and blood were still restless. He searched for a long time in vain.

“Impossible, this is impossible!” Feng Yun gritted his teeth; the blood in his eyes was getting more and more. He was still unwilling to believe that his family’s magic weapon was no match for the town’s human gu.

If that was the case, wouldn’t it mean that he could do nothing to the ghost and could only wait in place like in his previous life to be retaliated against and fall into that nightmare that would never end? As soon as he thought of this, Feng Yun became more and more agitated.

He gripped the compass and stared at those deformed flesh and blood nearby.

Right, it must be because that human Gu might have been reborn, so the magic weapon couldn’t detect him well.

Feng Yun looked at the nearby vapid flesh of swinging limbs and felt that it made sense; finally regaining his confidence, he continued to search.

Not a moment later, he found something wrong nearby.

Feng Yun looked at the direction the compass needle was pointing and became excited; ignoring the threat of those bloody flesh, he pulled out a talisman from his body and pressed it.

Instantly, the flesh and blood melted like ice and snow; there was a black mist that dissipated along with it, but soon the flesh and blood began to grow again.

Right in that short gap of growth, a large pale hand poked out from that gap and grabbed the wall with a death grip.

Feng Yun was creeped out and immediately took out many talismans on his body and sprinkled them on that hand, but it was of little use; only the sound of the skin and flesh being sizzled could be heard, but there was no way to stop that hand from getting closer and closer.

Soon, the crack grew larger and larger, until finally, countless pairs of palms poked out from the gap.

Amidst the sound of cloth tearing, Feng Yun finally got a good look at the owner of these terrifying arms; it was actually a tall figure that was more than familiar.

It was the cloaked ghost with a gloomy and ghastly face.

He looked at the nearby surroundings, and a ferocious smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

He quickly spotted Feng Yun not far away, and his eyes looked over.

Those black eyes scared Feng Yun so much that his face went white, but the resentment in his heart still made him barely hold on.

“Heh! It took a lot of effort to get here, Gu Yin; I finally found you!”

He let out a laugh, celebrating the fact that he had found the body of the ghost so quickly, and then he took out all the talismans he had on him, preparing to destroy this ungrateful human ghoul.

But for some reason, the human gu in front of him didn’t show the slightest expression of fear; instead, he looked at him for a moment as if he was watching some kind of farce.

Then he lost interest and turned his eyes away to look elsewhere, as if there was something there that attracted him.

Then he took a step in the other direction; his expression was cold, and his eyes were gloomy.

His handsome face was about to lose its ability to maintain itself, revealing scarlet skinless texture from time to time, exposing the horrifying nature of the ghost.

The tall body of the ghost was covered with decent male clothing, which was changed specifically to meet the priest. However, due to the uncontrolled flow of blood, his clothes were dyed red along his pale and sturdy muscles, making him appear even more sinister and terrifying.

The ghost naturally saw Feng Yun as his enemy. He should have immediately made a move to vent his hatred, but now he had no time to pay attention to this at all.

He only focused on staring in the direction where the priest was, wishing to instantly move over.

But with that damned fool in the way, he simply couldn’t get through.

Along with His mood swings, the flesh and blood in the entire church was stirring, itching to split that stupid Gu Yin, who was spouting nonsense and rumors, into pieces.

Obviously He shouldn’t care about it, but the thought that the pretty priest would really believe Gu Yin’s upside-down remarks made Him feel nothing but rage, and His resentment towards His other self had never been so deep.

But at the bottom of this anger was a fear and uneasiness that he didn’t dare to admit.

Uneasy about what? Fear of what?

Surprisingly, he didn’t dare to think deeply about it.

He tried hard to relax, but in the end, his mind still only had one sentence left: if the priest really believed it, what should he do?

The fierce ghost dared not continue to think about the answer to this question.

Behind him, Feng Yun watched in dismay as the ghost ignored him and walked away. Naturally feeling that he had been belittled, he was suddenly furious and became more and more mad.

“You despise me? You dare to look down on me?!”

As the heir of the town shrine, he had never allowed others to offend him; that sinister and treacherous priest was one, and now even this monster dared to show this expression, directly infuriating Feng Yun.

He took out a large number of talismans and threw them at the ghost, and seeing little effect, he took out another witchcraft doll and tried to use it to get rid of the ghost.

But the ghost still didn’t react with any fear; he only paused after noticing the movement behind him and turned his head to look at the straw-stuffed doll.

It was a very simple-looking doll, but it carried an uncomfortable aura of curse.

Feng Yun, who was originally still flailing, instantly turned pale the moment he locked eyes with the ghost.

The fierce ghost in this life was different from the previous life. It was no longer a human body with a snake tail; instead, he now had a completely human body, and he was extremely tall, almost reaching the ceiling. Standing in front of the fierce ghost made Feng Yun feel deeply oppressed.

At this moment, looking at the pale and terrifying face of this tall man, Feng Yun’s remaining rationality made him feel even colder, and his constantly expanding confidence also stopped.

As if he suddenly recognized the gap between himself and the ghost, his heart inexplicably gave birth to a shameful desire to retreat; that was the soul’s instinctive desire to survive.

But before he could escape, the ghost narrowed his eyes and suddenly stretched out his hand, taking the doll from Feng Yun’s hand.

When the doll was in Feng Yun’s hands, the straw was messy and the appearance was ugly; when it was in the hands of the fierce ghost, it suddenly began to change and slowly grew hair.

In the end, it turned into a doll with long black hair.

The looks were inexplicably, surprisingly, and extremely similar to the face of the fierce ghost at this time.

Ho-ho…

Because of the invisible fear brought about by the ghost, Feng Yun couldn’t control himself as he trembled; he heard the fierce ghost in front of him let out a low laugh, and his face revealed a bizarre expression.

Then, those ghastly eyes turned towards him, as if they had seen through what was in his mind, “Do you want to take revenge?”

“Then go kill Gu Yin, kill that monster!”

As the words fell, blood oozed from the button eyes of the Compass Doll in the ghost’s hand, and it was slowly squeezed by the skeletal, thick, pale palms, gradually becoming disfigured.

The voodoo doll was thrown back into Feng Yun’s hands.

The only thing left in the corridor was the hoarse and eerie laughter of the fierce ghost echoing.

Let that stupid guy become like Him, no, worse than Him.

On the other side, Jiu Shu moved his somewhat stiff arm.

Having been held in Gu Yin’s arms all this time, his body was a bit stiff, but looking at the sweet smile on Gu Yin’s face, he acquiesced to the hug that lasted too long.

Only when the nearby flesh and blood were no longer so restless did Jiu Shu kiss Gu Yin’s pale cheek, signaling that he could put him down.

Jiu Shu, who was held tightly in Gu Yin’s arms, had his entire body lifted up in the air.

The left and right sides of Jiu Shu’s priest’s uniform were split open to make it easier to walk, revealing his thighs wrapped in black trousers underneath, and at that moment, his long, straight legs struggled a little, but surprisingly, they couldn’t even touch the ground, leaving him rather helpless.

“I’m too afraid of these strange things hurting my dear.” Gu Yin loosened his embrace somewhat apologetically, but his arms were still reluctant to leave Jiu Shu.

Jiu Shu’s robes creased a bit from the embrace, falling loosely on his smooth waistline, making his waist appear even slimmer. Gu Yin couldn’t help but hug his lover’s waist and touch it again and again; the muscles under the fabric felt soft and comfortable, and he couldn’t let go.

The roots of Jiu Shu’s ears slightly reddened because of his movements, adding a beautiful color to it, and his breathing also hitched a little.

But even after holding back, he still couldn’t help blocking Gu Yin’s hand.

“Alright, let’s go; the others are still waiting.” There were still a lot of believers in the church hall, and the few believers that were brought here were also waiting.

Jiu Shu kissed Gu Yin to make up for it.

“Okay!” As much as he wanted to keep touching, Gu Yin, who got a kiss, looked at the blush on his lover’s face and shyly agreed.

As he walked past the limp A, Jiu Shu glanced at him and quickly withdrew his gaze.

Gu Yin seemed a little nervous when he noticed and tightened his grip on the hand interlocked with Jiu Shu’s fingers.

“Honey, don’t you believe me? What I said is true; that guy is a very scary ghost, the most skilled at deceiving people. Don’t be fooled by him!”

Gu Yin’s voice was gloomy.

“Of course I believe you. I’m just curious as to why that ghost is doing this. There’s no need to go through so much effort to pretend to be you in front of me. He disguised himself very well.”

Jiu Shu pretended to be distressed as he tapped his lips with his fingertips, and when he raised his eyes to look at Gu Yin, his beautiful eyes sparkled in the blood-colored corridor, so beautiful that it charmed Gu Yin.

His words, however, caused him to instantly stiffen. “I couldn’t even tell you guys apart; It feels like you’re like one soul.”

“…… How can that be, my dear? You must have been bewitched by that ghost. How can that kind of philanderer be the same as me?”

Gu Yin somewhat sheepishly avoided Jiu Shu’s gaze, then looked over a moment later and cupped Jiu Shu’s palm in his hand and kissed it, his narrow phoenix eyes filled with deep love.

“I love Jiu Shu the most; I will never change my heart, and I won’t be as philandering as that ghost.”

“……” Jiu Shu looked at Gu Yin for a moment before revealing a smile. “Me too, I love you.”

Gu Yin then breathed a sigh of relief and continued to hold Jiu Shu’s palm happily.

Although he was sorry for deceiving Jiu Shu, it was good that he had succeeded in weeding the third party out of his lover’s heart; he had finally reclaimed his lover’s heart.

He would treat Jiu Shu better afterwards; he would make up for these lies, as long as there was no longer anyone else around Jiu Shu; whatever he did to make up for it would be fine.

Gu Yin, immersed in the joy of sweeping away his rival, swayed with Jiu Shu for a while, refusing to move until Jiu Shu urged him to go towards the church hall.

Without the flesh and blood causing trouble and not wanting Jiu Shu to find Gu Yin, the journey naturally went much smoother, and there were no more ghost walls and circles.

On the way, he found the lost believers, and they successfully returned to the church hall.

“Now it’s time to figure out how to get out of here.” Jiu Shu took Gu Yin with him to the hall where the faithful were seated and looked up at the hall full of flesh and blood.

The deformed limbs growing out of the blood and flesh didn’t move as violently as before, quiet to the point where there was a slight hint of a storm coming.

Looking at Jiu Shu’s worried appearance, Gu Yin, who was sitting on the side, kissed his cheek with some heartache.

He also wanted to go out as soon as possible, after all, the wedding time was about to arrive, but the ghost domain of the fierce ghost was still suppressing his power, and they were now in a stalemate; it could only be devoured little by little.

He would do his best to get out quickly with Jiu Shu.

“Don’t be afraid, dear, I’ll stay by your side. Why don’t you rest for a while? Maybe when you wake up, there will be a way.”

Gu Yin cradled Jiu Shu in his arms and said thoughtfully.

He could tell that Jiu Shu was a bit tired.

The believers in this hall were also tired now, and even though they were still terrified of this mutated church, many of them couldn’t help but lean against the seats and fall asleep.

Jiu Shu rested on Gu Yin’s well-developed chest muscles, smiled helplessly, and nodded, “Okay, I’ll rest for a while, and you can sleep for a while as well.”

“I’m not sleepy; I want to watch my darling sleep!” Gu Yin tenderly hugged Jiu Shu tightly, revealing an incomparably happy smile after seeing Jiu Shu close his eyes.

Although he was trapped here, as long as he had his beloved Jiu Shu in his arms, he would be content.

The believers in the hall who were still awake were surprised to find that the nearby flesh and blood that were still expanding were completely quiet; the entire hall was so quiet that a pin could be heard, and once someone made a sound of movement, they would feel a bone-chilling chill that made them not dare to make the slightest movement again.

After making sure that the surroundings were quiet and wouldn’t disturb Jiu Shu’s sleep, Gu Yin didn’t pay any more attention to the humans in the hall and instead looked down at Jiu Shu in his arms.

Jiu Shu still looked very beautiful when he slept, slightly leaning his head sideways against Gu Yin’s neck; his hair was slightly messy, revealing the beautifully curved side of his face, his lips red and teeth white.

Gu Yin was mesmerized as he rubbed against Jiu Shu’s soft black hair; the love on his face couldn’t be concealed.

Gu Yin suddenly paused and felt a strange tingling sensation.

There was blood soaking Jiu Shu’s hair; it was Gu Yin’s blood.

A smooth cutting mark appeared out of nowhere on Gu Yin’s pale arm that was wrapped around Jiu Shu, as if it had been split by a sharp blade, instantly separating the flesh from the bone.

Pfft—followed by the neck, limbs, and head.

In just a few seconds, there were cut marks everywhere on this tall pale body, like a corpse that was being split up; each wound was precise and incomparable.

Gu Yin’s pupils tightened, and after realizing what had happened, the smile on his face instantly sank, and a strong resentment grew in his eyes.

And even as he felt the pain of being split up, he still didn’t make a single sound; but a large amount of blood gushed out, flowing over the entire seat.

In order not to disturb Jiu Shu in his arms, Gu Yin didn’t even panic until he placed Jiu Shu on a side seat and settled him down.

Nearby believers accidentally caught a glimpse of this scene, but before they could even scream, they were glanced at by Gu Yin’s cold vertical eyes, and fell into a trance, unable to move.

Jiu Shu slept particularly deeply this time, his black hair was stained with cold blood, which seemed to make him aware. His eyeballs rolled under his eyelids, as he tried to wake up, but he couldn’t wake up no matter what.

At this moment, Gu Yin’s face had already cracked open with a long bloodstain that ran across his entire face, and it cut through his eyes, leaving him to cover his face and stumble forward.

With every step, the skin and flesh on his body fell.

But he still didn’t stop, he tried to hide before his lover woke up.

He didn’t want to be seen by his lover in such a sorry state.

It wasn’t until he walked into a room behind the hall that he leaned against the wall to catch his breath.

His body’s ability to repair itself allowed him to keep recovering, but those wounds immediately reappeared after healing, which caused a delay in regaining his ability to walk, and he even collapsed directly onto the ground after his legs broke.

Ho ho ho–

Someone in the room suddenly laughed.

In the darkness, a figure that was generally the same as Gu Yin walked out; their miserable white faces faced each other, both with the exact same amount of resentment in their eyes.

Only one of them was wearing a smile, clearly pleased.

He was very satisfied with the effect of that witchcraft doll.

“This lying tongue of yours will soon be cut out; be happy!”

The ghost half-crouched his body and looked provocatively at Gu Yin but he didn’t receive any response, which was expected by him, so he didn’t get angry; instead, he laughed even more happily.

“Know what I’m going to do later? Ho ho ho—I’ll tell Jiu Shu that you’re the impostor, the monster who’s full of lies!”

The ghost had always known Gu Yin’s weakness, just as he knew his own; he detested being called a monster.

Therefore, He looked at Gu Yin at His feet in disgust, each word unmercifully uncovering scars, itching to reduce this stupid bastard into the dirt.

But what He didn’t expect was that the current Gu Yin was in a much better state of mind and wasn’t even irritated by the words.

Instead, he sneered at Him, letting the skin and flesh of His face fall off piece by piece, revealing the scarlet flesh and blood inside.

Gu Yin’s arm was already separated from his flesh and bones, and he couldn’t even support himself to sit up, and the thick blood had already turned his long hair into thick clumps, making it messy.

He, however, looked at the fierce ghost as if he couldn’t feel the pain; his eyes were dark, but it was if he could see what was going on; he cocked his head, revealing a smile so happy that it was a little sickly as he showed off:

“Jiu Shu has already said that I’m the only one he loves, so don’t get delusional!”

“You’re the one who’s an impostor; Jiu Shu will never believe you!”

Jiu Shu’s heart had already been taken back by him; the third party should have disappeared long ago.

Hearing these words, the fierce ghost’s pupils widened slightly, and his expression stagnated; it was actually as if he had been poked in the biggest scar in his heart.

Ka-wa…

After reacting, his expression became extremely gloomy, and he furiously crushed Gu Yin’s shoulder blade without mercy.

Obviously, he should be happy to see his enemy with this appearance, but now He could only feel his chest tighten with annoyance and his emotions grew more and more violent, as if he wanted to kill someone, but also as if it was another kind of uneasiness that bordered on fear.

Uneasy about what Gu Yin had said, that Jiu Shu would only love him.

“Hmph! You are still as stupid as ever; do you think I care? Love or not, only stupid people like you care!”

“How could I possibly care about something like that as much as a fool like you!”

The fierce ghost’s voice was arrogant and reckless, as if he really didn’t care about a mere human.

Yes, He didn’t care; the stifling pain in His heart was just the joy of a great revenge. He didn’t care at all who that priest actually loved!

The fierce ghost kept repeating this in his mind, but his expression showed an almost frantic unwillingness.

And this expression of unwillingness suddenly froze on his face when he saw the door of the room that was open not far away.

Outside the door stood a tall figure; no one knew how long he had been standing and how much he had heard.

One could only see that he was raising his eyes to look at the fierce ghost at this moment, and the emotions in his peach blossom-like eyes were indistinguishable, but they were enough to cause him to fall into the ice cellar; it felt like he was being suffocated!
