Chapter Index

Adrian’s expression immediately became serious: “Observed?”

They hadn’t captured any other signals just now, so it was obvious that the “observed” here was a direct use of eyes, not a detector.

The staff explained: “We have just used the cosmic telescope to observe the other party’s movement; he is now approaching us; in about five minutes, we will be able to see him directly without the use of the cosmic telescope.”

Adrian nodded. “Prepare for defense.”

About five minutes later, the other party had already appeared in He Yishu’s line of sight, and the scarred man suddenly sucked in a breath after seeing the three battleships.

He Yishu, on the other hand, couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows as he saw the three battleships, whose surfaces were painted red, traveling towards his side.

Such a bright color made one unable to resist the thought of mocking it, but He Yishu forcibly held back as he sensed a connection from the Scarred Man’s reaction: “Running into a familiar face?”

The scarred man’s gaze flickered slightly, seemingly struggling and hesitating, but after thinking about it, he still honestly admitted, “This is Chris’s battleship; the reason why I almost fought with him before was because the color of his battleship was just too…”

Speaking here, the scarred man paused, as if he hadn’t found the right adjective for a while, but his expression had already given the answer in place of words—that was, it was hard to explain.

“Chris ah,” the corners of He Yishu’s mouth twitched twice; he was suddenly a little worried about the Second Prince. “Since he came here on his own, the next thing will be much easier.”

The scarred man, however, didn’t care about what was going to happen between them next; he was more concerned about what was going to happen to him. “What are you going to do to me next?”

“I haven’t thought about that yet; just stay here quietly for now.” He Yishu didn’t even look at the scarred man, directly focusing on the red battleships that were getting closer and closer to the ship.

A minute later, the other party’s three ships all stopped, and then He Yishu took the initiative to send a communication request to the other party.

The communication was soon connected, and a man with a head of flamboyant red hair appeared in He Yishu’s line of sight. Originally, there was a hint of an arrogant smile on the man’s face, but when he saw He Yishu, the man’s eyes suddenly widened, and then he visibily became excited.

Chris’s voice was so excited, “Oh! How come it’s you, little cutie?”

However, both He Yishu and Adrian’s expressions darkened at the same time. He Yishu was instantly reminded of the letter he received because of this name and had a very bad premonition at the same time.

Adrian, on the other hand, was bothered by this name, and his heart felt sour.

Adrian reached out and wrapped his hand around He Yishu’s shoulder: “Please pay attention; he is my lover.”

Chris, however, seemed like he didn’t hear Adrian’s words at all and focused all his attention on He Yishu’s body: “This is simply too much of a surprise for me; you even found your way here and appeared in front of me; is this the destiny arranged by God?”

Adrian’s expression was already dark; he reached out and pulled He Yishu behind him, his gaze cold as he gazed at Chris: “Please respect yourself.”

Chris seemed to notice Adrian’s presence only at this time and gently asked, “You’re the boyfriend of the little cutie; you look so average.”

The veins on Adrian’s forehead were about to burst out; if Chris was right in front of him, he would definitely beat the other party up without mercy.

But even if he couldn’t beat up the other party now, Adrian obviously wouldn’t let the other party do whatever he wanted like this: “No matter how you think about it, He Yishu’s current lover is me, and he didn’t even know you before this.”

Chris raised his chin and said with obvious pride, “But didn’t he come to me now? To come all the way from as far away as the Capital Star to look for me, isn’t that enough of an indication?”

“I did come all the way here to look for you.” He Yishu poked his head out from behind Adrian’s body and sneered coldly, “But it wasn’t that I wanted to see you; it was that your lover, the Second Prince, asked me to make sure that I find you and bring you back. Also, all the guys who dare to insult my lover deserve to be punished.”

At the mention of the Second Prince, Chris’s expression changed instantly, but he quickly regained that arrogant look. “Little cutie, do you think I would believe your words? If it was really him who wanted to find me, why didn’t he come here in person? And I didn’t insult your lover; I’m just telling the truth.”

“Then I’ll be honest as well; in my eyes, you are completely unqualified to be compared to Adrian, much less qualified to issue such a comment to him; are you still satisfied with such honesty?” He Yishu snorted coldly. “Also, don’t use that name that is as disgusting as yours on me; I’m not the second prince, and don’t have too much tolerance for you; this is something that I hope you can remember.”

After He Yishu finished speaking, he directly put a rune card into the rune card slot, then sent a video communication request to the second prince.

Quickly realizing what He Yishu was doing, he immediately wanted to cut off communication with the spaceship. However, no matter how he pressed the button on the control panel, communication continued without any response.

At this moment, Chris had completely lost the proud look he had just shown towards Adrian; he became anxious and turned around to leave. Unfortunately, the hatch was tightly closed, and it didn’t obey any instructions.

Just as Chris was anxiously spinning around, the communication with the Second Prince was connected.

“Your man has been found; can you come and pick him up in person?” He Yishu directly pointed the communication lens of the light device at the communication screen on the ship.

The second prince didn’t expect that as soon as he connected the communication, what he saw was the lover he had been searching for years. For a moment, he couldn’t help but freeze a little. After a while, he came back to his senses and said nervously, “Chris…”

“You, shut up!” Chris glared at the Second Prince with an ugly expression, but then hastily averted his gaze. “Hang up the communication! I don’t want to see you!”

The Second Prince felt his throat dry up a little, and for a moment, he didn’t know how to speak in a thousand words.

Seeing the two in this state, He Yishu simply interjected, “Second Prince, I have something very interesting to tell you. Just a few months ago, I once received a harassing letter that was signed by Chris, and it wasn’t until today that I realized that this Chris is the same Chris, and that the person who sent me the harassing letter is none other than the lover you’ve been looking for for several years.”

The second prince’s expression instantly became embarrassed. He Yishu then continued, “And just now, your lover also used very excessive words to hurt my lover, for which I feel very dissatisfied.”

“I’m sorry, I apologize in his place; I really am.” The Second Prince took a breath and slowly bowed.

However, just as he made such a move, Chris couldn’t help but growl, “Who are you to apologize for me? I no longer have any relationship with you.”

The Second Prince’s expression was both full of apologies and looked exceptionally sad; he didn’t take Chris’ words into account but instead said to He Yishu, “Mr. He, I’m really sorry for what happened. I’ll be moving to set off now, so please send me the coordinates of where you are.”

“Don’t you dare come!” Chris gasped.

But no one cared about his words at all. He Yishu used his light device to send the coordinates over: “If you rush over from the capital star, it will take you three days at the earliest, so I won’t continue to wait here.”

“But he… ” The second prince’s gaze shifted to Chris and quickly moved away again.

He Yishu smiled and said, “Please be sure to trust me; my choice to leave is the best protection for him; otherwise, I’m not too sure if I’ll do something irreparable in these three days.”

Seeing that the Second Prince still had a worried look on his face, He Yishu then continued, “Please rest assured, Second Prince, I will leave behind enough rune cards so that there is no way for him to leave this place for at least four days, but if the Second Prince fails to make it over here within four days, then I won’t be blamed.”

The Second Prince gave Chris one last look and solemnly said, “I will leave now.”

After hanging up the communication, Chris had already lowered his head and sat down on the chair, looking listless and seemingly in a bad mood.

Seeing him like this, He Yishu felt more comfortable in his heart: “Casually sending harassing letters to other people, casually humiliating other people’s lovers, the price for those actions all needs to be paid.”

Chris just looked up at He Yishu and seemed to smile bitterly, but didn’t speak again.

Afterwards, He Yishu handed over a sufficient amount of rune cards to the staff, and although he said that he would only leave behind four days’ worth of rune cards, he actually gave quite a bit more.

The four-day period was only deliberately said to Chris; it would make him feel both desperate and hopeful. As long as the Second Prince didn’t arrive within the four-day period, he would still have a chance to escape.

Afterwards, the staff took out one of the small battleships stored in the spaceship so that He Yishu and Adrian could leave first.

After bidding farewell to Chris and the staff, He Yishu and Adrian embarked on the real return journey in the small battleship.

He Yishu first contacted the second prince, telling him that he didn’t need to be in too much of a hurry because Chris would definitely not be able to escape, and then he began to enjoy this truly meaningful period of solitude with Adrian.

It was just the two of them and the boundless, radiant night sky.

The person piloting the small battleship was obviously Adrian, and as He Yishu watched him skillfully maneuver the battleship, he couldn’t help but say with admiration, “Darling, you’re really good.”

Adrian smiled: “For the way you defended me just now, I should try my best to show off as well.”

“What that man just said was wrong; in my mind, you are the most powerful and the best.” He Yishu leaned on Adrian’s shoulder and softly said.

Adrian kissed He Yishu sideways, then suddenly smiled slightly and suggested, “Want to try piloting a battleship yourself?”

He Yishu immediately brightened up: “Is this really possible? I’ve never come into contact with this knowledge before.”

“It’s okay; I can teach you slowly.” Adrian nodded.

Thus, during the subsequent journey, the two began the teaching and learning of battleship piloting; although this made the two find a lot of new fun during the journey, it also caused their speed to be slowed down a lot.

Before the two had even arrived at the Capital Star, the Second Prince had already returned to his residence and even called to make a concerned inquiry.

And naturally, Chris was brought back by him without any problems; as for how the process went, it wasn’t unknown.

When He Yishu and Adrian finally returned to the capital, the dean of the first academy immediately sent a communication request: “The preparatory work for the establishment of the Han character rune card major has basically been completed, and the enrolment phase is about to begin; are you free to participate?”
