The reason why He Yishu monitored the situation of the Second Prince was obviously because he didn’t fully trust him, or, to put it another way, if in any previous communication or incident, the Second Prince had betrayed or plotted against He Yishu, He Yishu may have directly tricked him along with the Third Prince.

But now He Yishu was basically at ease with the Second Prince. From his conversation with the Third Prince, it seemed that the person he was looking for was probably the lover who went to become a pirate in anger, which should be very important to him.

Even in this situation, the second prince didn’t sell out He Yishu, so it was evident that he should be a very trustworthy person.

It was also under these circumstances that He Yishu felt that if he could help, he would really help the Second Prince.

And thinking of what he had done before, He Yishu’s tone was still a bit weak: “I know that my eavesdropping move wasn’t right; this is also considered to be trying to make up for my mistakes; it’s just that I may not be able to help either.”

The Second Prince took a deep breath and finally adjusted his expression: “I wonder if Mr. He is free now? Can we meet up?”

“Of course.” He Yishu nodded quickly, and the two of them then agreed on a location.

After meeting, He Yishu apologized again, and after receiving the second prince’s understanding, the two began to talk about business.

“Mister He should already have some understanding of some of my previous affairs, so I won’t elaborate much. The person I have been searching for is my lover; it’s just that he has been missing for several years and has been nowhere to be seen.” Speaking of this, the second prince’s expression became sad, but he quickly covered it  up. “As a matter of fact, a year ago, the third prince once told me that when he was cruising in the universe, he happened to come across a pirate fleet; at that time, he destroyed that pirate fleet by hand, and after that, he found out that my lover was in that fleet.

Seeing the second prince stop, He Yishu helped him to continue, “So according to him, your lover is now gone, but you obviously don’t believe this, because it is indeed very likely that the third prince deceived you in this matter, right?”

The second prince nodded; he leaned forward and covered his face with both hands; his voice sounded muffled: “Yes, for various reasons, I am not willing to believe this news; in fact, I’m still trying to try to find my lover; just that so far, there has been no result.”

“Can I take the liberty of asking how you have searched for your lover before?” He Yishu continued to inquire without offering comfort, as he felt that what the Second Prince needed was not comfort.

“Sometimes I would search the universe with the w-arships from the military department responsible for sniping pirates, but more often than not, I could only request people I knew well from the military department to help me focus on this matter.” There was a lot more powerlessness in the Second Prince’s voice.

These words, as well as the tone of the Second Prince’s voice, made He Yishu understand even more why the Second Prince looked so distressed.

As a member of the royal family, he both wanted to find his lover and was unable to stop the military department from carrying out the order to exterminate the pirates, and even every time the news came from the military department that they had succeeded in exterminating the pirates, the second prince would feel distraught over it, but it was just that he couldn’t do anything about it.

Even though he was a member of the royal family, he couldn’t control the entire military department; he could only ask some of the people he knew to help him keep an eye on his lover; other than that, there was almost nothing he could do in this matter.

“Speaking of interstellar pirates, are they all without evil?” He Yishu actually wanted to say that since the Second Prince’s lover had become an interstellar pirate, he might not have been the same as he was back then.

“It’s not necessarily like that; it’s true that there are a lot of interstellar pirates who roam the universe because they have broken the laws of the Stat Empire, and in order to escape their crimes, they intercept incoming and outgoing transport passenger ships and brutalize innocent people of the empire, but there are also a lot of people who had to break away from the Star Empire out of necessity, and they don’t usually attack innocent people; instead, they make enemies of other interstellar pirates.” The Second Prince shook his head, but his expression still looked heavy. “But I don’t really know what has become of him now.”

It was possible that it was good, it was possible that it was bad, and it was even more likely that he might not have gone into piracy at all and just hid away on some remote planet, not wanting to see him again.

He Yishu suddenly felt that he might not be able to help the second prince, but what should be asked should still be asked clearly: “Then what’s his name? Do you have a picture of him?”

“Yes,” the Second Prince tapped on his light device and clicked out a clear frontal photo from his own collection of photo albums. “He is my lover, and I think his current appearance shouldn’t have changed too much unless he chose to give up his previous looks himself.”

He Yishu carefully sized up the photo and commented, “He’s very handsome and has fiery red hair, which seems to be very rare.”

“It is rare; I think his hair color is beautiful.” The second prince was also staring closely at the photo; he would turn over his lover’s photos and images almost every day to look at them in order to relieve the pain of longing. “By the way, his name is Chris.”

“Chris?” He Yishu’s mind instantly swept over a letter he had received some time ago from Office One; that letter couldn’t be traced to its source either, but it was marked with a name; it seemed to be Chris, right?

But this should just be a mere coincidence.

“Yes, has Mr. He heard of his name?” The second prince shifted his gaze to He Yishu with an imperceptible expectation.

He Yishu shrugged: “It’s just that the name happened to be written on a harassing letter I received earlier, and it shouldn’t have anything to do with the Second Prince’s lover.”

“Oh.” The Second Prince nodded; this was an expected answer.

“It’s like this; since I’ll be relatively free these days, there’s a possibility that I’ll take the spaceship out for a bit of a trip. I’ll help keep an eye on this matter in the  process.” He Yishu lightly clapped his hands together and spoke out his intentions: “In addition, I’ll also ask Uncle Arman to help keep an eye on it, so that at least he can help within the reasonable range.”

These words caused the second prince’s eyes to light up violently. Arman was a marshal of the military department, almost the highest authority in the military department; if he was willing to help, it would definitely help him tremendously.

“Mr. He, thank you; really, thank you so much!” The second prince sincerely thanked him.

He Yishu waved his hand. “There’s no need to thank you; I’m not sure if I can really help yet.”

“Regardless of the outcome, your willingness to do this is already a great help to me,” the Second Prince straightened his spine, his hands clenched tightly, looking as if he were very excited. “You yourself may not realize how important this is to me, but I am very clear about it, so I really thank you a million times over.”

He Yishu touched his nose and said, “Your Highness the Second Prince, I’m a little embarrassed by your words. So if there is any information in the future, I will inform you promptly.”

“Alright, I wonder if I’ll have the honor of inviting Mr. He to have lunch with me next.” The Second Prince took a deep breath before calming his tone back down.

“Of course, but can I add one more person? My lover is a jealous man, and he probably isn’t happy about me dining alone with other men.” He teasingly inquired.

The second prince couldn’t help but reveal a look of envy: “Being able to become your lover is indeed a very fortunate and enviable thing.”

“Actually, normally it’s him who tolerates me more, so I’m the one who should be feeling lucky and envied by others.” He Yishu said as he lowered his head to open his light device and sent a brief message to Adrian, and the other party quickly gave him an affirmative reply: “He said that he’s very happy to be able to have lunch with His Highness, the Second Prince.”

“I feel honored as well.” The Second Prince smiled enviously.

The three of them had a nice lunch together, and Adrian wasn’t jealous for the first time in a while, but also showed extra poise and had a nice conversation with the Second Prince.

Afterwards, the three of them said goodbye to each other, and He Yishu and Adrian went back to the First Academy together.

On the way back to the academy, He Yishu told Adrian in detail about the conversation he had with the second prince and finally mentioned that interesting coincidence: “Maybe it’s because the name Chris is too common; that’s why it’s so coincidental.”

Adrian teased in a good mood: “What if they happen to be the same person?”

He Yishu directly rolled his eyes: “If it’s really such a coincidence, I might have to break my promise.”

After returning to the flat, He Yishu told Arman about this matter. For this kind of harmless matter, Arman was always very tolerant; of course, the main reason was that the person who brought up this matter was He Yishu.

After speaking about this matter, Arman smoothly said, “The venue and mechas for the Rune Card test have been prepared, so you can come over to conduct the test at any time, Xiao Shu.”

“I’ve troubled Uncle; I don’t have any other arrangements on my side these days, so let’s go over tomorrow morning.” He Yishu replied.

“That’s fine; tomorrow morning at nine o’clock, I’ll send someone over to pick you up.” Arman nodded and spoke of another matter, “By the way, didn’t you guys say earlier that you wanted to take a cosmic trip? Are you guys planning to leave straight after this experiment? As well as have you guys considered your travel route?”

He Yishu and Adrian looked at each other, and He Yishu responded, “We haven’t made a specific decision yet, and this trip may be more casual for the two of us. It can be called a spontaneous trip. Because the basic courses for learning Chinese characters and symbols have been completed, I have sent them all the materials, and the dean is responsible for setting up the major. So after completing this experiment, I really don’t have anything else to do recently, so it mainly depends on Adrian’s plans.”

Adrian immediately stated, “I will unconditionally cooperate with Xiao Shu’s arrangements, but does Father have any suggestions on this?”

An old fox-style smile slowly appeared on Arman’s face: “Since that’s the case, then I’ll assign you a mission, by the way.”
