C89 – Sinister Lover [Slice]
by UntamedS“Mmm.” Chu Chen’an closed his eyes tightly, his consciousness blurred.
Lan Xu kissed him, claiming the juices in his mouth, his tongue meticulously sweeping over his teeth and making slurping sounds.
Chu Chen’an’s cheeks were flushed, and he didn’t have any strength to push away the person in front of him.
He was kissed for a long time, from his lips to his neck.
He felt the cold surroundings gradually become hot, and the faint fragrance on Lan Xu’s body hooked his soul like a rope.
Lan Xu let go of him, “I’ll give you the antidote, An An.”
As soon as Lan Xu’s voice fell, Chu Chen An felt a faint medicinal flavour emanating from his mouth.
That was Lan Xu passing it over with his mouth.
Chu Chen’an had been kissed for so long that he had completely lost all sense of time and space.
Lan Xu hugged him intimately, “An An, you are my brother’s, of course you are also mine. The first time I saw your photo, I fell in love with you.”
“Brother and you had a wedding, right?”
Lan Xu’s fingertips rubbed against his cheek, and he grunted, “We haven’t even had a wedding yet.”
“This is all because of you, An An,” Lan Xu kissed his cheek, “why did you come back so late, I have been waiting for you for a long time …… wife.”
Chu Chen’an was drowsy and subconsciously struggled.
Lan Xu hugged him tightly as he warmly spoke, “Good boy, I’ll kiss a little longer.”
……
When Chu Chen’an woke up, he found himself lying on Lan Xu’s back, and one hand clutched a strand of silver jewellery.
He looked around in a daze; they had left the dense forest and come to a vast and pale meadow. “What’s wrong with me? Where is this?”
Lan Xu said, “You were just poisoned, Chen’an; I used herbs to detoxify you. This is the road to the secret realm; we are almost there.”
Chu Chen’an said “Oh” and timidly loosened his hand that was clutching the spike beads.
His cheeks quickly reddened as he recalled the vague dream he had just had.
Why did he dream that kind of dream again?
That flower should have a hallucinogenic effect, right?
He lowered his eyes as he suddenly thought of something: “Where did He Xuesheng go?”
“The poison he was hit by was more serious,” Lan Xu said. “I kept him in the forest to rest first, and then we’ll go to meet up with him after finding them in a while.”
Lan Xu felt Chu Chen’an carefully put his hand on his back and continued, “I put Lost Devouring Incense around; there will be no wild beasts in the forest, don’t worry.”
Chu Chen’an gave a soft “hmm.”.
After he was carried by Lan Xu for a while, he said, “Why don’t you let me come down and walk by myself?”
“We’re almost there; it’s fine.” Lan Xu smiled as he walked slowly.
Chu Chen’an felt that this grassland was endless; he was carried by Lan Xu for a long time, but they still hadn’t reached the end.
After a long time, they passed through the grass and arrived at the foot of the main peak of Wulan Mountain.
Looking down on Wulan Mountain from a close distance, he realized that Wulan Mountain was far higher than he had imagined.
Lan Xu led him around many mountain paths before Chu Chen’an arrived at the so-called secret realm.
The secret realm was like a paradise beyond the world, with lush and exotic flowers and plants surrounded by towering sky-high trees.
Butterflies of different colours danced amongst the flowers, the air was pure and clear, and natural tree holes were formed under many of the depleted trees.
Chu Chen’an was awestruck by the blooming scenery before him.
“Like it here?” Lan Xu looked at him with lowered eyes.
Chu Chen’an was mesmerized by what he was looking at and subconsciously responded, “Mm.”
Lan Xu said, “If you like it, you can come here to play every day in the future.” I’ll give it to you.
Chu Chen’an laughed dryly, not caring much. He casually picked a small yellow flower and asked, “Could they be here?”
“Let’s look for them first.” Lan Xu said, and he led him inside.
Chu Chen’an stepped on the soft ground and looked around.
This place was so big; how were they going to be found?
He had to shout as he walked, “Director Liang, Director Liang, where are you guys? Director Liang.”
Chu Chen’an had already used his maximum volume, but after his voice was lost in the pallid secret realm, the echo was absorbed by seven or eight points.
The echo was thin, soft, and gentle, like a ball of cotton.
Lan Xu followed him to the side and listened to him shout all the way.
Soon after, Chu Chen’an got tired of shouting, and he directly sat down on a clean patch of grass.
A drop of crystal sweat slid down from beside his white face and then rolled down on Chu Chen’an’s delicate collarbone.
There were still a few fresh marks on his collarbone.
Lan Xu’s mouth was dry from watching so he picked a fruit by the fruit tree not far away.
Chu Chen’an stole a glance at the fruit.
The fruit was large and ripe, red, and looked sweet.
He secretly swallowed his saliva and clasped his hands on his bent knees.
Chu Chen’an only saw Lan Xu used a short silver knife to peel off the skin before going to the clear stream to wash it.
Lan Xu was keenly aware of Chu Chen’an’s small movements and smiled as he squatted down in front of him, handing him the fruit. “Eat?”
Chu Chen’an looked at the fresh fruit covered with water droplets and hesitated a little.
He lowered his eyes like a cat; it wasn’t clear what he was pondering on.
Only after a few moments did he raise his eyes and look at Lan Xu, asking in a small voice, “This isn’t poisonous, right?”
He was now afraid of being poisoned.
Lan Xu snorted, revealing neat white teeth. He arched an eyebrow. “Why are you so cute?”
Lan Xu bit it in front of Chu Chen’an. The chewing sound was crisp and clear, and his perfect jawline moved as he chewed. His smile was wide. “Eat it.”
Chu Chen’an’s earlobes reddened before he took it. “Thank you.”
He took a bite.
Sure enough, it was sweeter than he had imagined.
He couldn’t help but take another bite, it was as if a cloud of fireworks had bloomed in his heart.
Lan Xu just watched him eat, and when Chu Chen’an finished, he asked, “Want another one?”
Chu Chen’an shook his head; they had to hurry. “Let’s continue to find Director Liang.”
“Hmm.” Lan Xu nodded.
They walked inside for a while. Lan Xu inclined his head to look at him. “The poison in your body has just been detoxified; let me carry you.”
“No need,” Chu Chen’an was too embarrassed to trouble him and said, “I can walk by myself.”
Lan Xu looked around at the surrounding grass, pretending to be concerned. “Right, there seem to be snakes around here; it’s better for me to carry you.”
After saying that, he squatted down in front of Chu Chen’an.
When Chu Chen’an heard “snake,” goosebumps rose all over his body.
He hesitated for half a second, then responded, “That… well then, I’ll trouble you.”
“No problem.” Lan Xu smiled and shook his head as he adjusted Chu Chen’an on his back.
They walked between two rows of dense trees, the light gold glowing through the gaps in the leaves on his body.
Chu Chen’an was dutifully calling out to Old Liang, even though he didn’t get a response along the way.
The air was fresh, and the smell of flowers were fragrant.
Inexplicably, he had the illusion that he was travelling.
Lan Xu slowly carried him on his back and took out his wooden ocarina after walking the trail.
He blew the ocarina with one hand, and the musical sound drifted lazily through the air, the trail gradually swinging away.
After the musical sound completely dissipated, Chu Chen’an lay on Lan Xu’s shoulder and asked cautiously, “What’s wrong?”
Lan Xu put away his ocarina with one hand and turned around with Chu Chen’an on his back, “They’re not in the secret realm, let’s go out.”
Chu Chen’an’s eyes widened.
What?
They weren’t here?
……
Lan Xu slowly carried Chu Chen’an out of the secret realm.
It was like they had come for a walk.
When they returned to the foot of Wulan Mountain, Chu Chen’an demanded to come down and walk by himself.
“Where would they be if they aren’t in the secret realm?” Chu Chen’an looked around.
“Let’s look upwards; they didn’t enter the secret realm.” Lan Xu helped Chu Chen’an step onto the rugged mountain path.
The mountain path wasn’t easy to walk, so Chu Chen’an walked carefully.
“Director Liang,” Chu Chen’an called out to them loudly, “Are you there?”
In ten minutes, they walked up halfway up the mountain.
The sound of Chu Chen’an’s call echoed in the mountains, startling a few birds perched on the tree trunks.
Suddenly, they heard a “rumble.”.
Several pieces of debris were smashed out around a rocky outcrop halfway up the mountain.
Chu Chen’an heard the sound and saw that a pair of cross-country boots had stepped on the rubble.
“We’re here.” The wound on Old Liang’s forehead had solidified with a lot of blo-od; his hair was dirty and grey. He looked at the two of them with joy as he spoke, “We’re all here!”
……
Chu Chen’an and Lan Xu approached the rocks at the take and found a narrow stone cave inside. The three of them were sitting inside, all grey-headed, and two of them had injuries on their arms.
The outside of the stone cave was blocked with rubble, and there were traces of sharp claws on the surface of the rubble.
“We got lost when we came here; we couldn’t get up the mountain and couldn’t find an exit; we only found this stone cave to use for rest.”
Old Liang supported an injured girl, his voice hoarse. “There were bears at night, so we could only block the stone cave and continue to find our way during the day. We finished the food we brought yesterday, and we have been starving from the night until now. Fortunately, you guys came.”
Their group descended the mountain. The girl Lao Liang was holding up was called An Qing, his little assistant; her arm looked like it was broken.
When they arrived at the dense forest, He Xuesheng was still lying on the grass.
“He Xuesheng, are you alright?”
Chu Chen’an went up and patted his face before He Xuesheng opened his eyes with a jolt.
“Hmm?” He rubbed his eyelids, confused. “How could I sleep for so long?”
It was already noon, and the sun was blazing.
He sat up, raised his eyes, and glanced at the four people not far away, instantly sobering up. “Old Liang?!”
“I finally found you; I thought something happened to you guys!”
……
After returning to the B&B, it was already three or four o’clock. The several people who were injured were simply bandaged up and went back to their respective rooms to rest.
Chu Chen’an was so tired that he laid on the bed and took a two-hour nap.
When he woke up, his whole body was sweaty and sticky.
He simply went to the bathroom, took a shower, draped himself in a bathrobe, and walked out.
The evening sun in the sky was engulfed by dark clouds. He rubbed the back of his sore neck and sat by the bamboo window to enjoy the evening breeze.
The fortress was unusually quiet at this hour, and he couldn’t even hear the sounds of children playing and fighting downstairs.
He simply drank a bowl of porridge and laid back down on the bed.
The silence around him was eerie.
His bathrobe only came down to his knees, revealing his slender calves, which looked increasingly pale under the light.
A gust of cold wind blew, and that strange feeling of being out of control came back.
Chu Chen’an closed his eyes uncontrollably, shivering a little from the cold around him.
Suddenly, his bathrobe spread out by itself like rags.
Immediately after that, there were fine, dense kisses.
“Where did An An go today?” Lan Huai kissed Chu Chen’an’s earlobe.
Chu Chen’an’s eyelashes fluttered, not daring to make a sound.
“Reason with me, baby.” Lan Huai’s voice was grim. “Did you go with my brother?”
Chu Chen’an pursed his lips and didn’t say anything.
Lan Huai bit down hard on his lower lip, and he silently cried out in pain before he had to answer, “Yes.”
Lan Huai’s fingertips rubbed Chu Chen’an’s soft lower lip. “You like staying with him? You didn’t come back after so long.”
His tone was cold, with a questioning tone.
Chu Chen’an could only quickly shake his head and say, “No, I don’t like it.”
Lan Huai kissed him, and his tone became gentle. “Good boy, stay away from him, okay?”
“Mm.” Chu Chen’an closed his eyes and nodded aggressively.
Lan Huai branded a kiss on his eyelids, followed by his eyelashes, and then kissed the tip of his nose.
Chu Chen’an’s eyelashes fluttered, and he felt like he could open his eyes, but he didn’t dare.
He was being kissed.
Lan Xu’s voice was low and hoarse as he whispered, “Baby, I missed you so much.”
Chu Chen’an felt like he couldn’t escape tonight.
Lan Huai clutched his wrist without question.
Suddenly, a shocking noise outside the door broke the scorching atmosphere.
He frantically knocked on his door. “Chen’an, come out quickly! The long corridor on your side is on fire; it’s about to burn to the door.”
Chu Chen’an was so scared that he could only open his eyes, only to be relieved when he saw no one in front of him.
Hurriedly putting on his bathrobe, he got up and went to open the door.
Once he opened the door, he saw He Xuesheng’s anxious expression.
Lan Xu rushed from the stairway and tugged on Chu Chen’an’s hand as he pulled him towards the stairs.
The fire quickly spread to his room, and it was only later that the shop manager brought people to put out the fire to stop it.
The bamboo walls of his room were blackened in a large area and could no longer be occupied.
Chu Chen’an stared blankly at this large area of scorched blackness, still in a bit of a trance.
How could there be a fire all of a sudden at this time?
“There are no more extra rooms in the B&B.”
Lan Xu looked at the wall and suggested, “Why don’t we go to my house to make do?”
Chu Chen’an thought about it; the double rooms with single beds in the B&B were cramped; he couldn’t go to He Xuesheng’s room and stay on the floor.
It seemed like this was the only option left.
“Okay.” Chu Chen’an inclined his head towards Lan Xu and said, “Thank you.”
Chu Chen’an gathered his luggage and bag.
“I’ll take them all.” Lan Xu took his luggage and bag, his mood seemed to be pretty good, “Let’s go.”
Chu Chen’an followed behind him.
Why did he feel that Lan Xu was gloating a little ……
He followed Lan Xu to his home.
His family’s bamboo building was large, the decoration was classical and exquisite, the furnishings were complete, the water and electricity were steady, and there were a lot of flowers planted in front of the courtyard.
Chu Chen’an walked into a large bedroom, and Lan Xu put his luggage and bag away.
“You’ll stay in this room, Chen’an,” Lan Xu said with a smile, “My room is next door, you can call me anytime if something happens.”
“Okay.” Chu Chen’an tightened his grip on his bathrobe and sat down on the edge of the bed.
Lan Xu’s looked straight at him and said, “Then rest early.”
“Okay, you too.”
……
Chu Chen’an turned off the light and laid down. The bed in this room was much softer than the bed in a B&B.
And next door, Lan Xu was watering a pot of crimson red flowers as he stroked up the petals with small thorns.
He put down the water pot and stood in front of the wall.
Through a hole in the wall, Lan Xu saw Chu Chen’an’s peaceful sleeping face.
Chu Chen’an was sleeping on his side, and the collar of his loose bathrobe was open, revealing a piece of alluring beauty.
He looked at him for a long time before turning back to the table and tending to the potted plants.
“Brother, you’re already married to him.” Lan Xu smiled grimly. “To be fair, let me go first this time.”
