“This man looks just like the one who used a mirror to replace a severed arm and leg.” He said.

It was the same as the Shen Jiyue that Mu Sichen had met in the sanatorium, only with a slight change in his clothing and hairstyle.

Shen Jiyue’s hair that reached his shoulders in the sanatorium should have a sense of artistic beauty, but he had too many blisters on his body, and it took him a short time to recover his appearance. Before Mu Sichen could observe him closely, the “pillar” appeared, and he was quickly sent outside by the power of the pillar.

When he saw him at the processing factory, his hair had been styled, and his hair was neat and tidy. As they met on the sports field, he was wearing sportswear and not only looked handsome but also had a refreshing feeling.

Now, Shen Jiyue in the library was dressed in a white shirt, with a slightly thin figure and pale skin; he looked somewhat pathological, but still very handsome.

He Fei told Mu Sichen that Shen Jiyue, whom he saw in front of the unknown area, was wearing a suit and had slicked back hair, giving off a somewhat refined feeling. Even though his hands and feet were engulfed by mist, he remained calm and proud.

Mu Sichen couldn’t help but feel a trace of doubt. Those Shen Jiyue, they weren’t people, right?

They were actually four people controlled by Shen Jiyue. When Mu Sichen discussed countermeasures with Shen Jiyue in the sanatorium, there was also one Shen Jiyue in the processing plant and one in the library.

Thinking of this, Mu Sichen felt a chill on his spine. Without hesitation, he took out a pillar-level self-sticker and held it in his hand, ready to use at any time.

“Don’t look at it.” Mu Sichen said to He Fei, “I’m worried that something terrible will happen next.”

“It’s always right to look, right?” He muttered.

“Behave!” Mu Sichen’s tone was serious, his expression extremely solemn.

He Fei had rarely seen him look so cautious but still wanted to fight for his right to know.

At this moment, he saw an octopus tentacle seemingly rising from Mu Sichen’s back waist, waving at him with teeth and claws.

He Fei suddenly had the feeling of seeing an octopus saint, and that feeling of being dominated by reason surged to his heart.

He immediately took out a book, from which he took out mechanical-feeling VR glasses and a pair of all-inclusive headsets.

“I’ll watch a holographic movie; you can call me when it’s done.” He Fei found a chair in the library and sat down, with an air of comfort as if he were in a movie theater.

He Fei was truly a person who would never compromise with him no matter what the situation was.

Mu Sichen breathed a sigh of relief and continued to observe this somewhat morbid Shen Jiyue.

Sick Shen Jiyue rolled up his sleeves, revealing some self-inflicted scratches on his arms. He took out a pen from his shirt pocket and gently wrote the words’ Shen Jiyue ‘on the register.

When Mu Sichen saw the pen, he was slightly stunned.

He also took out a pen from his system backpack, which he had gotten from the diary owner when he first logged into the game.

Two identical pens meant nothing; perhaps it was a uniformly issued pen from Tongzhi Town.

But the sickly Shen Jiyue’s thinness of not having eaten food for a long time, the wounds scratched out on his arms due to his emotional breakdown, all made Mu Sichen suspect that this was the missing diary owner.

A person disappeared silently in Tongzhi Town, and even the followers who delivered food daily didn’t know about it.

This was the town of pupils that could see everything, so how could it be impossible to find a person?

Perhaps it was because the person had changed his appearance and had become someone else.

Shen Jiyue was able to mimic the power of the big eye with the light reflected from the mirror, so it didn’t seem to be that difficult to project his own appearance onto a few other people.

No wonder Shen Jiyue from the sanatorium had Qin Zu’s totem on his body, because this person was really someone sent by Qin Zu but had his body occupied by Shen Jiyue.

What a terrifying ability, to the extent that even Qin Zu didn’t realize that his totem skin had been affixed to another face.

Mu Sichen watched the sick Shen Jiyue read a book, but he looked in the direction of the sanatorium from time to time; he seemed to be waiting for something.

Suddenly the ground of the entire library trembled, and the fog outside turned into bright moonlight and bloo-d red light. Mu Sichen remembered this kind of light; it was the light that was sprinkled on the ground that day when Shen Jiyue’s original body appeared in the farming area and fought with the big eye.

Just by seeing these rays of light, many people in the library began to roll on the ground as if they were crazy; half of the eyes of the Hairy Eye dependent shriveled up, his hair fell out, and he, who originally had thick, long hair, instantly turned into the Mediterranean Sea.

The Simple Pupil and the Hairy Eye dependents looked at each other, and both of them immediately made a decision.

The Hairy Eye dependent pulled off all his hair, the Simple Pupil Dependent mumbled something under his breath, the register in his palm spread out, the Hairy Eye dependent’s eyes that hadn’t yet shriveled up flew into the register, and a pillar of light appeared from the register.

As the Hairy Eye dependent’s eyes disappeared along with his body, the pillar of light grew larger and larger, enveloping the entire library, and the frenzied people inside the library stopped.

And the sickly Shen Jiyue sitting by the window laughed silently.

Not a moment later, the moonlight outside disappeared, leaving only the blood light of the big eye.

The simple pupil dependent breathed a slight sigh of relief. Just as he was about to close the registration book, the sickly Shen Jiyue suddenly burst out with moonlight all over his body.

Seeing this, Mu Sichen made a decisive decision to stick the pillar-level self sticker on the back of his neck while taking out a second one and putting it in his hand.

Sure enough, Sick Shen Jiyue’s body disappeared and transformed into a bright full moon that hung at the top of the library.

All the people in the library who were reading books raised their heads at the same time and asked in unison, “What is that?”

A puzzled, inquisitive look appeared on their faces.

In that instant, the moon dominated everyone’s desire for knowledge, and the desire for knowledge that originally belonged to the “pillar” was dominated by the moon!

In the Pillar, the eyes of the big-eye totem were gradually transforming into a full moon.

The simple pupil dependent was still able to resist this force. Seeing that the situation wasn’t good, he simply gave up his body, took off a pair of eyes, and threw them into the beam of light. His whole body turned into powder and disappeared under the moonlight.

And with his move, the transformation of the totem stopped, turning into a bizarre appearance of a half crescent moon and half eyes.

But this didn’t stop Shen Jiyue’s main body from descending, and the moon rose into the air with the power of the library.

Mu Sichen, who saw this scene, felt an extremely terrible gravitational force; it was as if the moon’s gravity was suddenly infinitely enlarged, not only suddenly causing a terrifying tsunami but also making his bloo-d boil, his heart beat violently, and his mind uncontrollably go wild.

Mu Sichen’s mind was occupied by thoughts such as “what is this?”  “what is the moon?”  “I want to go to the moon to see it,”  “I want to understand the moon,”  and so on. “I want to go to the moon to see,” “I want to know about the moon,” and other ideas occupied his brain almost to explode, and his thoughts were dominated by Shen Jiyue.

If it continued any longer, his brain would explode from the explosion of information and his heart would explode from a heart rate of over 500.

Right at this moment, a cool air from the back of his neck was injected into his body, calming down all of Mu Sichen’s thoughts, heartbeat, and blood flow, helping Mu Sichen hold on to this page.

It was good that the book turned the pages after Shen Jiyue temporarily got the dominion of the library.

Mu Sichen got a respite, and the self sticker on the back of his neck dissipated.

Shen Jiyue was far stronger than the Big Eye; the power of the two wasn’t even on the same level!

You should know that this was just a record of what happened back then, not a direct look at Shen Jiyue’s true self. What he saw was only a historical image!

Even so, Mu Sichen still nearly died from this, relying on the self-sticker to save his life.

This self-sticker wasn’t wasted; at least he knew what way Shen Jiyue was occupying the library, but he also looked directly at this historical image to get a certain amount of information.

Forcefully relying on his own body to descend upon this’ pillar’, Shen Jiyue has also suffered some damage. In addition, Shen Jiyue, who had absorbed half of the power of the Big Eye, was currently busy digesting this huge force. Before the upper tier library became the full moon library, Shen Jiyue’s body would never descend upon the library again, no matter what.

But if Mu Sichen really stayed in the real world for seven days, the library would probably become a full moon, and when he came here again, he would face Shen Jiyue’s essence.

The time the system left them each time, how was it vacation time? It was clearly a death notice.

Fortunately, there was He Fei; that unlucky person, Mu Sichen, momentarily didn’t know whether this roommate was unlucky or lucky.

Just now, the library was in chaos, but He Fei was still watching a movie, as if he was watching martial arts movie, he gestured with his hands and feet.

Mu Sichen went up and patted him. He Fei took off his VR glasses and headset and asked with a look like he just woke up from a dream: “Can I continue watching? Heavens! How did you become like this?”

After looking at Shen Jiyue’s body, Mu Sichen’s entire body was drenched in sweat, his lips were bloodless, and his clothes were plastered to his body, as if he were weak from a serious illness.

“It’s fine; it’ll be fine after a while of reprieve.” Mu Sichen said.

He sat on a chair and watched the changes in the library with He Fei.

After turning the page, two people walked into the library; one was the suit, Shen Jiyue, and the other was a man who looked just very much like that dead otaku.

Suit Shen Jiyue drew a totem over the library, and it was the first time that Mu Sichen had seen Shen Jiyue’s complete totem, which was the six moon forms of the new moon, the upper chord, the half moon, the full moon, and the lower chord, in a semi-circle shape enclosing the grasses symbolizing the plants, the butterfly’s wings symbolizing the bugs, the rabbits symbolizing the animals, and the brain symbolizing the human spirit.

This seemed to represent the realm at Shen Jiyue’s disposal.

The otaku lay under the totem, and under the reflection of the moon totem, his entire figure transformed into scattered light spots that disappeared. Within the light spots, a book appeared.

Suit Shen Jiyue threw this book with the moon on the cover to the sky, and the book turned into countless points of light, scattered in the middle of every book in the library.

So far, the Crescent Moon Library had again turned into the Upstring Library, and the people who were reading books in the library had all disappeared.

After that, another page was turned, and one after another, people entered the library, and these people looked completely different from the people of Tongzhi Town, and most of the hairpins, necklaces, rings, and other accessories on their bodies had elements of the moon, and these people also entered the books.

Upon doing so, the two men’s bodies lightened, and they left the Brief History of the Library.

A bookmark appeared in each of the two people’s hands; the bookmark was blank, the same as the one that Mu Sichen had seen on the second floor of the library.

He Fei glanced at the bookmark system and grabbed his hair, saying, “If the bookmark is blank, we won’t get any points. We just entered a book for nothing and didn’t get anything. 300 points even got deducted from the book! Mu Sichen, how many points do you still have? Is it enough to enter the next book? Do you have 1000 points consumed in a day? If you don’t have enough points by the end of the day, you will be wiped out.”

Mu Sichen only had 400 points left, but he wasn’t afraid; he had gotten enough information in this book.

A Brief History told him that the “pillar” in the library had turned into two parts; one part was the Simple Pupil Dependent hiding with the power of the original pillar; the other part was the new cornerstones transformed into the dependent that Shen Jiyue had re-sent to the library.

Since the books transformed from the new cornerstone hadn’t been included in countless books, it meant that the original pillar and Simple Pupil Dependent were also hidden in the books.

The crescent moon and eye bookmarks obtained by He Fei proved this.

Shen Jiyue’s dependents were searching for the Simple Pupil Dependent in the library, eager to take over this part of the power so that the two halves of the “pillars” could be fused together.

Knowing this information, what Mu Sichen has to do is simple.

He had to find the Simple Pupil Dependent before Shen Jiyue; as long as he got the other half of the “pillar,”  Shen Jiyue’s half would naturally come to the door.

As for the whereabouts of the simple pupil dependent, it wasn’t completely untraceable.

The note on the second floor read, “My Lord has not completely fallen; He is in my heart, in the book, in the sight of all the reverence.”  There must be clues hidden in this sentence.

Mu Sichen’s points were only enough to enter one book; he had to choose his next book carefully.
