The young man held the candy carefully, staring unblinkingly at the person in front of him. Shao Ge was too popular; his face was so iconic that almost no one wouldn’t recognized him.

Shao Ge lowered his eyes and looked at him for a while, then he smiled. “Thank you for reminding me, but the candy won’t be eaten; it’s too late; I have to go back; otherwise, my lover will be angry.”

After saying that, he turned around and left. When he passed by a rubbish bin, he crushed out his cigarette and threw the cigarette butt into the trash bin.

In the moonlight, his silhouette gradually lengthened and finally disappeared in the eyes of the shopkeeper.

…..

Shao Ge reentered his home, and just as he changed his shoes, he heard a voice ringing in the darkness.

“You’re back.”

This time he wasn’t mistaken; it was Shen Jue’s voice.

Shao Ge paused for a moment, put on his slippers, then turned around. “Why are you still up?”

It was now past three in the morning, soon to be four.

“I was waiting for you, Shao Ge.” Shen Jue’s tone was unprecedentedly grave. “Where did you just go?”

Shao Ge wanted to answer honestly, but thinking that Shen Jue didn’t like him smoking, he temporarily changed the words on the verge of his lips: “I wanted to go shopping for an item, but I didn’t get it.”

He reached out and flicked on the living room light, and Shen Jue was sitting on the sofa in his pajamas, staring at him without blinking.

The two stared at each other in silence; in the end, it was Shao Ge who opened his mouth first: “Go to bed; I just worked up a bit of a sweat; I’m going to take another shower; go to sleep first.”

Shen Jue sniffed and shook his head. “I’ll wait for you, so we’ll sleep together. Go and take a bath.”

When Shao Ge finished his shower, the two of them reclined on the bed. In the darkness, Shao Ge stared at Shen Jue, who had his back to him, pursing his lips in silence, and after an unknown amount of time, he slowly moved to the other person’s back and gently hugged him.

He buried his face between the other’s neck.

Shen Jue wasn’t asleep; he actually knew what Shao Ge was thinking. His relationship with Shao Ge wasn’t something that was smooth; it was more like driving a duck to the water. He half forced the other to be with him and seductively got the other to confirm his relationship with him.

Later, he got pregnant, and Shao Ge had to take the responsibility; it was just that he hadn’t taken the responsibility for a few days when Ji Yao stepped in.

Shen Jue and Ji Yao stayed alone for a few months, and when they returned to Shao Ge’s side, the child was only a little over a month away from birth.

For Shao Ge, there was a large gap of time in between. Before the end of the world, they were teammates who didn’t know each other well; after the end of the world, they were companions on the road to escape, and then they became lovers. As lovers, Shao Ge’s time was too short.

Ji Yao took Shen Jue away and left him to search. Perhaps he didn’t even understand his own heart. Later, Ji Yao intentionally died in front of Shen Jue, which was also a kind of stimulation for Shao Ge.

What kind of love could make a person willing to die but also drive the other party to want to be remembered?

So when they really got along as lovers, there were actually a lot of bumps and bruises, and Shao Ge’s identity was too extraordinary. In his previous lives, his lover was Ji Yao, who was too aggressive and best at shutting people up, and Shen Jue looked too easy to bully, so that was why some fans dared to send some messy letters to his door.

In fact, Shen Jue had seen those letters a long time ago; he even bumped into Shao Ge reading them. There was a seed of doubt in Shao Ge’s heart; otherwise, he wouldn’t have read those letters.

Why did he read them if he didn’t believe him? It was because he doubted, so he went to read those letters; he wanted to see if those fans analyzed the situation reasonably.

The more he read, the more skeptical he became, and Shao Ge became more and more confused.

Sometimes love arose precisely in the midst of a crisis, so Shen Jue let him suspect it, even deliberately calling Mo Mo “Lele” in the shower.

Of course, this method was really risky; one wrong step, and Shao Ge may leave. But Shen Jue understood Shao Ge. Shao Ge was never one to make promises easily, but once a promise was made, he would be responsible for it.

So even if Shao Ge’s heart was tormented, he wouldn’t just give up this relationship unless he was completely dead.

“Shao Ge, what are you uncomfortable with? Can you tell me directly?” Shen Jue’s voice sounded a bit ethereal in the dark night. “Do you know that just now Mo Mo cried? I coaxed him for a long time, but I couldn’t get it to work. He even spat up his milk, so I rewashed him alone, but I didn’t get it right and made him choke on the bath water, and he cried even harder. I just wondered where you were at that time.”

Shao Ge stiffened.

Shen Jue’s voice lowered. “Was it because I was out of shape after giving birth and made you disgusted? Or did I… ”

Before the words were finished, he was stopped.

Shao Ge put his finger over Shen Jue’s lips, and his eyes took on a plea: “Don’t say it; I… I won’t just leave in the future.”

Shen Jue didn’t speak again, but Shao Ge felt his fingers touch something wet. He paused for a moment and ran his hand upwards, only realizing what had happened when he touched the corner of Shen Jue’s eye.

He froze for a while before embracing the other man into his arms, his muffled voice ringing out, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”

Shao Ge kept apologizing; he couldn’t explain his state of mind, nor could he justify it. Going into a jealousy fight with a dead person was really embarrassing to talk about.

A lover’s relationship was really complicated; it was obviously the most intimate, but one couldn’t tell the other person the most vulnerable and heartfelt words.

But he realized that there was something wrong with his behavior; his sudden departure was obviously an act that was too excessive to be true. Just by thinking differently, Shao Ge realized that he had done wrong.

“I was the one who forced you to be with me before; if you regret it, you can just tell me.” Shen Jue let Shao Ge hold him. “I can let you go, just Mo Mo. If he grows up, can he call you dad?”

Shao Ge closed his eyes at that, and when he opened them again, the corners of his eyes were a little red. “I don’t want to be free, Shen Jue; you’re not allowed to give me freedom; do you hear me?”

Shen Jue tugged at the corner of his lips and said somewhat wearily, “It’s not up to me to give it or not; it’s up to your heart.”

“My heart only has you.” Shao Ge answered this directly, and after a while, he repeated it again.

Shen Jue was silent for a long time, so long that Shao Ge thought he was asleep before he said, “Really?”

What answered Shen Jue was a kiss.

……

The next day, Shao Ge went to look up the information and realized that some people would be even slower and less enthusiastic about that after having a baby. He even had the cheek to ask the doctor, who coughed before replying, “It takes two people to work together, and you should do your best to make your partner feel comfortable.”

Shao Ge sniffed and pondered; after a while, he asked again, “Is there any way?”

The doctor naturally knew Shao Ge, and it actually took a lot of courage to answer this kind of question. He sucked in a breath of cold air before saying, “Why don’t you go and look for your lover’s sensitive spots?”

Sensitive spots?

Shao Ge frowned before saying thank you to the doctor and getting up to go out. He never seemed to know where Shen Jue’s sensitive spots were.

As he thought about it, Shao Ge almost bumped into someone.

“Sorry.” Shao Ge didn’t even look up and went around to the side.

“It’s you.” The other party, however, let out a surprised voice: “Did you get scolded by your lover when you went back last night?”

Shao Ge paused before raising his head, and when he saw the other party’s face, a trace of doubt flashed in his eyes. “You are?”

The enthusiasm on the other party’s face instantly faded, and he said with some embarrassment, “I am the clerk of the convenience store. Yesterday, I came to the hospital to get some medicine.”

After the other party reminded him of this, Shao Ge vaguely remembered that he seemed to have met a young man last night, and the other party also wanted to treat him to some candies.

The fact that Shao Ge loved candy was known to almost all of his fans, and the other party was able to take his favorite flavor of candy to him, so it seemed like he wasn’t a simple passer-by.

Shao Ge was a top star; all these years since his debut, the eager to please ones that pandered to him couldn’t even be counted; he had seen too many demons and monsters. Last night was when he was in a bad mood, so he didn’t think much about it, but now that he thought about it carefully, he realized that it was a bit strange.

“Sorry, I don’t remember.” Shao Ge returned a distant smile and walked forward, around the other party.

That young man froze for a moment and suddenly turned his head to Shao Ge and shouted, “He’s not a good person; don’t be fooled by him.”

Shao Ge’s footsteps stopped violently. He turned back, his eyes suddenly cold. “If you say some more nonsense words, I can’t guarantee that I won’t hit you.”

The young man was intimidated by Shao Ge’s eyes and, surprisingly, didn’t know how to reply. Shao Ge suddenly snorted a laugh. On screen, he always laughed decently, never so gangly.

This smile of his fell in the young man’s eyes, making the other man’s heart beat violently faster, and soon, his heart beat even faster as the owner of the smile took big steps towards him.

Shao Ge coldly and directly grabbed the young man’s collar and lifted him up, but his gaze looked like he was looking at rubbish. “It’s you guys, right? Sending messy letters to my place, I know that fans like you all have organizations, but I’m no longer a star now, so don’t fu-cking send me any more letters, and don’t follow me.”

Speaking here, Shao Ge laughed again, but this time the smile was different; it was a difficult laugh. “You guys pissed him off, and I had to coax him; a kiss wasn’t good enough to coax him. How many kisses do you think it took to coax him?”
