In the entertainment industry, there were still many talented people. Just by looking at his face, Chen Kele immediately understood what he meant.

“Come in and sit down; it’s not good to stand outside.” Jiang Fanxing accepted the money this time and invited Chen Kele in with a smile.

A good brother came to find him; even if he was photographed, he wasn’t afraid. Besides, he was a little newcomer, and Paparazzi was so farsighted as to be able to come and take his pictures in advance.

Seeing Jiang Fanxing accept his money, Chen Kele’s heart finally settled.

If Jiang Fanxing didn’t accept it, he would have to seriously think about whether the path Jiang Fanxing pointed out to him was correct or not.

“What would you like to drink?” For the sake of 100,000 yuan, Jiang Fanxing was very polite.

“No need to be polite.” Chen Cola was a bit flattered; after all, this one was someone who even dared to dislike Zhu Guofu. Qiu Songsheng was so high and mighty, never putting these “blo-odsucking” group members in his eyes, but this time he made an unprecedented call just for Jiang Fanxing. How could Chen Kele underestimate him?

Although the other party hadn’t officially debuted yet, he would definitely make it big in the future.

“You’re welcome; I have nothing but mineral water and plain water, so I’ll give you mineral water.” Jiang Fanxing threw a bottle of mineral water over, then sat on the sofa and looked at Chen Kele and asked, “How much homework have you done now?”

“I watched a little bit of the videos with my second account, really.” Chen Kele said in a bit of a panic, “It seems like they just dance twice and do a crossdressing or something. Some have high traffic, some have low traffic, but I haven’t seen any with particularly high traffic yet.”

“Because there are already few men with good figures, it takes a lot of time and energy to cultivate beauty. In the short term, there is no way to see any benefits. There are not many people on this track, and it’s easy to stand out just by showing off.” Jiang Fanxing thought for a moment, “Stand up and lift up your clothes, I’ll take a look at your abs.”

If someone else said this, Chen Kele would 80% think that the other party had some kind of thoughts about him, but it was Jiang Fanxing who said this… Well, if he had inappropriate thoughts about him, it wasn’t impossible; it’d probably be a gain for himself.

Chen Kele quickly collected his small mind, obediently revealing his abs, and by the way, the biceps of his arms were also revealed.

Jiang Fanxing touched it, patted it, and went around to his back to look at the back muscles.

“Enough is enough; practicing to this extent is enough; to work out further is to attract the same gender.” Jiang Fanxing seriously sized up Chen Kele and said, “The upper half of your face can still be seen; it’s the lower half of your face that isn’t very good.”

“I… did my double eyelids and also padded my nose.” Chen Kele said quietly, “The stage makeup effect doesn’t make it look very obvious, but there are still some traces in daily life. I plan to improve it again.”

“Okay, take a seat,” Jiang Fanxing thought for a moment and said, “If you want to take the track of a male bodhisattva, you need to remember two principles. First, you cannot accept tips, collect money, or engage in activities like ‘gg’. It’s purely for the benefit of your fans, and you are not using this to make money. Second, you need to cover most of your face with a mask, and your bangs should also cover some of your eyes, so that people suspect it’s you but can’t tell it’s you.”

“Won’t it be more difficult for me to become popular if I cover myself?” Chen Kele was puzzled.

“If you don’t cover it up, you’ll really become a male internet celebrity, lowering your own price, and you’ll also be easily reported for obscenity.” Jiang Fanxing glanced at him, “No money, no reward, only a little bit of exposure, male Bodhisattva; we’re talking about selflessness, understand?”

He understood now.

“Do you know how to dance the national style dance or classical dance folk dance?”

“A little bit, but I’m not really proficient.” Chen Kele replied honestly.

“Well, if you want to make a personal characteristic, simply showing off your body won’t work; you also have to add something to yourself, such as spreading national culture or something like that. It’s best to wear ancient clothes, and in the early stages, you’ll go for the proper ancient style and then slowly overdo it to something like the Dunhuang style and the Wei Jin style……. You can think of the specifics on your own; you are more familiar with this industry than me.”

“Wait until you post a few more videos, then find someone to hype it up; they should say that the person who posted the video is a lot like you and bring up some conversation about whether this is spreading classical culture or taking advantage. Then get your fans to come out and bring up the tempo to despise this kind of behavior, and the fans and anti-fans battle will rush straight to the hot search. In the end, you accidentally reveal your voice during one of your dances and get recognized; it’s pretty much the same script.”

“In the middle, you can donate all the proceeds from the short video settlement to your account or wherever to build a school or help widows and orphans for a good cause. When someone asks you who you are in the comment section, you also have to insist that you love dancing and that the first video was made for you by your friend! In short, you are accidentally on this path and found that many people love you. You especially love helping people succeed in losing weight.”

Jiang Fanxing spoke eloquently, interspersed with various tricks, leaving Chen Kele stunned.

Was he really not a professional in marketing? How come he was more familiar with this trope than he was?

“Wait until your account is exposed, then you can come out and sincerely apologize, saying that you didn’t think it would have a bad impact, you still like to dance, and you will pay attention to your clothes in the future, and at the same time call for assistance for public welfare, and that’s pretty much it. Now the public acceptance is very high. As long as it’s not illegal, the more controversial and popular you are now, the greater your chances of turning things around.”

Jiang Fanxing patted Chen Kele’s shoulder. “You still have to be quick; do it while you’re still hot. Your biggest advantage lies in the fact that you and Qiu Songsheng are nominally in the same group, and his traffic can naturally rub off on you! If you wait until you guys completely disband and fly solo, you’ll be out of breath. If you continue on this path, there won’t be any star aura to help you break out of this track.”

“But Qiu Songsheng may not be willing to let me take advantage.” Chen Kele laughed bitterly; their relationship wasn’t that good.

“Qiu Songsheng himself initially rubbed up against a certain top star and bundled his way to the top. Isn’t the entertainment industry about rubbing against others when you’re not popular and being rubbed against after you’re popular? No one can escape this step. Does it matter if he doesn’t want you to do it? To the outside world, you guys are a group.” Jiang Fanxing said easily, “If you don’t use some strange tricks, how can you be popular?”

To put it simply, a talent show is about hundreds of people interviewing for ten positions. How can it be enjoyable? Even elementary school students fight for the role of class monitor!

“Of course, by then, if I’m popular, I’ll also help you out; after all, we’re in the same studio; if you’re good, I’ll be good too.” Jiang Fanxing easily drew a pie for him.

Chen Kele was dumbstruck.

“Jiang… Jiang Fanxing, what exactly did you do in the past?” Chen Kele felt that he had really grown so much older than Jiang Fanxing for nothing, and he was better than him in every aspect.

“I’m just an ordinary passerby. These things have long been summarized so many times by various entertainment groups.” Jiang Fanxing shrugged and said, “Stars rise, and many times it ends with a descending blow. Those with a better body than you don’t look as good as you, and those who look better than you don’t have the star aura that you have. As long as there is a topic and you still have people that care, it’s fine. But your mental capacity has to be okay.”

“Not bad. I was scolded every day by Qiu Songsheng’s fans and other popular group members’ fans in private messages, and the worst time I accidentally blocked Qiu Songsheng’s camera when I was dancing, and posthumous photos of me were spread.”

“Then you’ve seen big waves.” Jiang Fanxing nodded. “Remember to go and report to Brother Shen in advance; you shouldn’t ignore his publicity team; you haven’t cancelled your contract yet. If it’s feasible, he’ll still renew your contract.”

“Ai, thanks, Brother Jiang. I definitely won’t forget your kindness.” Chen Kele nodded.

“There’s no need to talk about these falsehoods. If you forget my favors in the future, it will only prove one thing.” Jiang Fanxing looked at Chen Kele and smiled, quite confident, “That is, I’m not as popular as you yet.”

If he was popular enough, Chen Kele would only stick to him and would definitely not forget the favor. Showbiz was a fame and fortune field; under the spotlight, everything was profit. True love might be there, but it would never be exposed in front of the camera.

“Brother Jiang, you’ll definitely be a big hit.” Chen Kele couldn’t help but lament.

Talking to smart people was really a difficult thing.

Shen Tianqing wasn’t easy to deal with either.

Chen Kele had a stomach full of emotions, and when he went back, he planned to digest what Jiang Fanxing said.

It was very feasible.

He’d give it a shot!

Jiang Fanxing sent Chen Kele out, and in his heart, he was also looking forward to whether Chen Kele could really be popular. If this road went through, it would mean that one day, if he was out of fashion, he could open a company and sign a bunch of internet stars and artists and let them make money for him.

Being a celebrity would be his main profession, but he also needed to prepare several side jobs. He couldn’t just hang himself in one industry at once.

Which star didn’t want to go from that to director to producer to investor? The star was party B, and the people with capital were party A. Who wanted to be party B if he couldn’t be party A?

So many stars had come out to open their own studios, making the answer obvious.

An hour later, Chen Kele sat in Shen Tianqing’s office.

Shen Tianqing listened to the path that Chen Cola was arranging for himself next and gave him a sly look. ”Jiang Fanxing taught you, didn’t he? You’re a few years older than him; it’s unexpected that you would listen to him.”

“Eh, I think what he said makes sense.” Chen Kele lowered his head. “Brother Shen, I know that your publicity team is the best, so can you help me? I know that I didn’t bring any revenue to the studio before, and you don’t plan on renewing my contract, but you can give me another chance; if I’m not a hit this time, I’ll honestly retire from the circle and become a training teacher. If I can get up, I’m still willing to stay at the studio, and a lower split is fine.”

“That’s good.” Shen Tianqing glanced at him and said, “Sign an artist supplemental agreement; I’ll renew your contract one more time.”

“Thanks, Brother Shen.” Chen Kele knew that this was Shen Tianqing agreeing with his approach; he was willing to help him operate from behind, and that was enough! There were countless male groups that popped up every year, and there were a lot of pretty faces, so if he couldn’t catch this last chance to make a dash, it would really be a wasted trip to the entertainment industry.

Chen Kele waited until he had finished signing the contract, only then did he dilly-dally and look at Shen Tianqing, “Brother Shen, Brother Jiang was pestered by me and had no choice but to give me an idea; don’t be angry.”

“He’s the future cash cow of our studio; how could I be angry?” Shen Tianqing’s expression was obscure: “If he doesn’t become an artist and changes his career to open a studio, I’m going to have one more number one rival. Compared to being a competitor, I still hope he can be an artist under me.”

Moreover, if Jiang Fanxing really went out and opened a company on his own, his original capital would 100% be the 30 million yuan that he would have to pay out if he terminated his contract.

Why on earth did he sign that kind of contract with him in the first place?

Forget it; it was better to let him be an artist, he felt. like he could succeed in anything he did; he was a human disaster. Having signed with such an artist, Shen Tianqing felt like applying for a Nobel Prize award couldn’t be considered excessive.

Btw, I just noticed that the site has changed a lot! It’s very easy to use and nice to look at :)). Although I would highly suggest a page specifically for all translated novels – with pics and their descriptions (shortened with a see more thing). I also wanted to suggest this on the previous version of the site because not all novels were shown last time. But maybe you’re already working on it or on something better? Nevertheless, thanks for the chapter and can’t wait for more improvements on the site!
