The marshal’s residence was built some years ago, and the interior still maintained the simple style that was popular many years ago. At first glance, the original owner’s bedroom was bare, much like a star hotel suite on Earth.

Wait…why did he still have time to care about this? Duan Hengye blinked hard and threw all those thoughts into the air.

In Duan Hengye’s memory, although the original owner had “seduced” Meng Jinhuai more than once, they all ended up being gently rejected by the other.

Seeing that Meng Jinhuai really came into his bedroom, did he want to drive the marshal lord out?

Obviously, Duan Hengye didn’t have the guts to do so.

He was really a bit miserable, despite not inheriting the family business in his last life, but as a guy who was born in a traditional ancient martial arts family, Duan Hengye had never had a boyfriend until his death. It was not easy to be reborn once again, but he didn’t expect the first time he would “live together” with a man would be under such circumstances.

…Not as good as Film Emperor Meng who had a perfect disguise, Duan Hengyues mood quickly went down at the thought of it. However, it was as if Meng Jinhuai didn’t feel it, he opened his wardrobe and hung his jacket in, then took a set of robes out. Although Duan Hengye and Meng Jinhuai had been living in separate rooms, the robots of the marshal’s residence would change the robes in the closet together every day.

“It’s been a tiring day, hurry up and rest.” Meng Jinhuai came and smiled as he reached out his hand to gently caress the side of Duan Hengye’s face, then very thoughtfully smiled towards him and said, “I’ll go over there first.”

Despite the simplicity of the decor, the interior of Duan Hengye’s bedroom was actually not simple at all.

For example, in addition to a dedicated bathroom, this bedroom also came with another shower room. After Meng Jinhuai finished speaking he took his robe and walked towards the shower, until the door slowly closed, Duan Hengye hesitated for half a day before he finally took a step, then looked sad as he went to the wardrobe and picked up the other robe.

Probably because of the setting of the novel, although it was the interstellar era, some details of people’s lives were still very similar to the world Duan Hengye used to live in. For example, the white silk robe he was wearing, Duan Hengye smelled a faint aroma as soon as he picked it up, the smell was sandalwood at first, but there was a bitterness from the herbs at the end.

Ye Tian’s perfumers would make up their own scent for each of the top Imperial officials, unlike the original owner who had no interest in it, Duan Hengye liked the scent almost from the first second he smelled it.

The bathroom in the suite was almost 20 square meters, the overall color was beige, in addition to the ceramic bathtub placed in the middle, the most important component of the entire bathroom was the huge mirror on the wall. When the master entered the door, the bathtub started to release water automatically, and at the same time a light fog was also raised in the bathroom. Duan Hengye didn’t turn on the defogging function, so the mirror surface was covered with a layer of white frost shortly afterwards.

In the haze, Duan Hengye slowly walked over to the mirror. He discovered that the original owner’s appearance was actually seven or eight points similar to his former self since he had transmigrated….

The man standing in front of the mirror took off his robe and he slowly reached out his hand to touch the cold mirror surface. People who had seen Duan Hengyee since he was a child would praise that he was really good-looking, like a noble gentleman who came out of an ancient painting. And after every compliment, a series of photos would follow. Kids were always a bit rebellious by nature, and after being surrounded by uncles and aunts for a few times to take pictures, Duan Hengye didn’t really like people discussing his looks.

But what he didn’t expect was that now that he was living again, looks were the only thing he was familiar with apart from his memories.

It was just that compared to his former self, the original owner with poor physical quality was even paler. There wasn’t any excess fat on his body, only a thin layer of muscle evenly covering the bones. Despite being somewhat thin, he wasn’t weak.

Probably because there was some resistance in his heart, Duan Hengyies bath was a bit long.

Before going out, Duan Hengye had been praying that Meng Jinhuai would be asleep, but he was disappointed, he saw Meng Jinhuai sitting on the bed focusing on his light brain as soon as he pushed open the door.

Originally, Duan Hengye thought that he had calmed down, but the second he saw Meng Jinhuai, his legs still shuddered indisputably.

The work in the military department wasn’t easy, and even though it was already break time, Meng Jinhuai was still busy. However, after hearing the sound of the bathroom door opening, Meng Jinhuai, who was busy with his official duties, still put down his work at hand. He took a glance at Duan Hengye like a true lover, then very thoughtfully turned off his light brain.

The length of this robe was just right up to Duan Hengye’s calf , and there were still some small droplets of water on Duan Hengye’s legs after taking a shower. Now a few steps in, the hem of the silky robe also gently stuck to his calves.

Duan Hengye didn’t know… Despite acting incomparably calm, Meng Jinhuai was still astonished the second he saw him.

Obviously, he still had the same face from before, and he was still cold and icy, but Meng Jinhuai suddenly read a few points of sexiness from his body.

It was as if the delicate puppet suddenly had a wisp of soul.

Unlike Meng Jinhuai who thought blindly, Duan Hengye’s entire body was on alert. After all, although the marshal lord acted as if he was a harmless person, his own ending in the original book was a constant reminder to Duan Hengye: Meng Jinhuai was definitely not a person to be messed with.

When the marshal who mercilessly executed the original lord in the original book was reunited with the man who was smiling at him now, the image of the person on the other side became more and more frightening.

Never wimp out! Don’t be a wimp!

Duan Hengye puffed himself up a bit in his heart, then once again endured the trembling of his fingertips as he went over. Fortunately, the bed was very wide, and when he laid stiffly on it, he discovered that there was a large empty space between the two of them.

Duan Hengye didn’t look at Meng Jinhuai the entire time, not knowing if it was an illusion or not, the other party seemed to laugh softly, then turned off all the lighting in the bedroom.

Even though he kept telling himself that he should be steady and that Meng Jinhuai wasn’t going to eat anyone, Duan Hengye’s heart was actually about to jump out of his throat from the moment he laid down. When his eyes got used to the darkness, Duan Hengye kept staring at the ceiling trying to see the patterns on it, and his body was extremely stiff.

He didn’t know how long it took, but Duan Hengye suddenly felt the mattress beside him sagging a little. Just as he was closing his eyes and holding his breath to wait for his fate to be judged, he found that Meng Jinhuai only reached out his arm and gently pulled the blanket upwards a little, then laid back down again….

Just a blanket? Duan Hengye was a little confused.

He didn’t know what happened, but obviously he was nervous just now, but from this time when he closed his eyes, Duan Hengye actually slowly relaxed. After another short while, he finally fell completely asleep.

The three satellites of the Southern Stars slowly moved to the sky, and soft light slowly spilled into the room through the gap in the curtains.

It was at this moment that the man lying on the other side of the bed slowly sat up.

With his movements, the white silk robe slowly slipped over the man’s chest, and his light honey-colored pectoral muscles were uncovered. If one called the next person to see it, screams would have been exchanged, but unfortunately, the only admirer in the bedroom had already fallen asleep.

At this moment Meng Jinhuai was expressionless, his eyes were even more incomparably cold, and the illusion of tenderness during the day was completely taken away.

Duan Hengye was still lying with his back to Meng Jinhuai, and because his neck was slightly bent downwards, a small red mole that was usually hidden in his clothes was also exposed. Meng Jinhuai sat behind Duan Hengye, and he looked at the red mole for a while. After a while, he finally reached out his hand to rub it with his fingertips, and his movements were a little too gentle.
Even though the skin that was being touched was extremely sensitive, Duan Hengye who was lying here still didn’t react in the slightest.

“Duan Hengye… “Meng Jinhuai frowned slightly, he looked as if he was somewhat attached, but his voice was a bit confused, “Do you really want me to die that badly?”

Meng Jinhuai’s entire palm then slowly moved upwards, and in a short while, it was placed on Duan Hengye’s neck. The marshal’s light honey-colored skin contrasted sharply with the pale neck of the man, and now with just a little bit of force from these slender, graceful hands, Duan Hengye would say goodbye to this world.

Meng Jinhuai’s hand was placed on top of Duan Hengye’s neck, and he felt the pulsations of the blood vessels coming from underneath the skin.

This pounding coincided with his heartbeat, and as long as Meng Jinhuai pushed a little harder, the beating would disappear forever….

After a long period of silence, when the night became even darker, Meng Jinhuai finally slowly withdrew his hand. He took one more deep look at Duan Hengye, finally laid back and slowly closed his eyes.

Meng Jinhuai could certainly choose to kill Duan Hengye at this moment, but as a mature Imperial Marshal, he wouldn’t do so.

A living exposed undercover agent was far more useful than a dead one.

The three silver-white satellites slowly disappeared, and the night of the Southern Stars finally came to an end.

After transmigrating, it seemed like Duan Hengye hadn’t slept for such a long time, and when he woke up it was already 11:00 am. When he saw the bright sunlight outside the window, Duan Hengye couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat – why did he sleep so deeply last night? It was definitely not normal.

If it was placed on someone else, they would probably think that it was because they were too tired yesterday or had a serious illness. But Duan Hengye didn’t think so, he slowly took a deep breath then clenched his fists, then looked nervous as he recalled last night’s events….

20 square meters isn’t really a big enough bathroom to be well… impressive for an aristocrat. (4 by 5 m is 20 m2 which is only slightly larger than average bathrooms for middle class where I’m from, unless it’s in a big city.)

    Thanks for the chapter! (≧▽≦)

  4. I’m kinda surprised he didn’t wake up from his neck being touched. Isn’t he from a martial arts family? Though I guess his new body might be hindering things…
    Thank you~
